I have a 2003 Jeep Wrangler that I pull behind my motorhome and have a Patriot braking system. The problem I am having is I can't keep the be system online. Everytime I hit a bump it knocks the Brake out in of whack and it then it needs to be readjusted only to go off line after a bump or being activated. I have tried it with floor mats, without floor mats, with/without the covers installed on its feet, as well as various seat positions. The problem I think resides in the fact that it pushes against the bar that slides the seat back, and never returns to the same spot. Just looking for suggestions on how to make it work before I spend $ on a different system.

cut a board to fit across the front of the seat. cover it and you are good to go
the first one i cut to short and would slide over and off. the one i have used for a long time is about an inch longer the seat front

I was going to say the same as donkeydew, but might also notch it at the spot the Jeep seat handle hits it, might help to keep it in place.

Look at the Ready Brake from NSA. Easy installation on the motor home hitch receiver, at a wire(s) run between the Ready Brake and toad bumper and then to the brake pedal of the Jeep. No power required at the toad unless your year Jeep requires some. My 2015 doesn’t.

With my Brake Buddy, I attached a piece of 3/4 inch pvc to the handle which gives it space at the seat to clear the seat adjustment lever.

Sounds interesting. Could you possibly post a picture.
