This may be old news but have you seen the
Rugged Mountain Custom RV Denali

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CsEi_npWrcw

As a recent convert to a flatbed hauler, I see this or others as a future possibility

Thoughts?

First impression, hauling a camper on a flatbed truck is soooo ugly.

There have been a few brands that came on the market and disappeared. Let's see if this one makes more than a year or two.

First impression is definitely the perfect application for the vehicle you’re getting.
Biggest reservation would be resale if that matters to you, since TCs are already a very limited market, those with big flatbeds to haul it are only a very small % of the already small market and those that have seem bed length style CA etc are smaller and those that want a flatbed camper smaller yet.
That said it is basically the ultimate luxury TC. But what is the catch and how are they undercutting the big name mfgs for comparable units?

I noticed that as well. Sounds either like creative advertising or maybe someone who is actually trying to sell more campers.

TCs have always or at least since I’ve been into campers in the last 10 years, been way overpriced for the space and materials involved compared to trailers.
And that has gotten even worse since the Rona.
Possible that it’s an honest price, but seems a bit “off” for the more custom high $ TC market.

Its not heavy for a F550 or 5500. Even with a steel bed you probably have close to 9k of available payload. So figure the camper with full water and propane might weigh 7500 I see plenty of room for solar, batteries and a nice rock collection.

These monster campers on med duty trucks are a very niche market. Even more so than TCs in general. Getting closer to the class 5 super Cs in size and price.
