Im certain that is an error on their build and price website. The HO is still pricey for what it is but it’s a $2500 charge over the regular 6.7 diesel and I think it’s supposed to be $12,495 price increase over the 6.8 liter gas engine.

Might be true but the F450 is only available with the Diesel, so if it is an error, they should change it soon!
I went on Fords site and after verifying the F450 does raise the price by $12495 when checking HO started a chat with them. They should have the issue resolved soon.

Impressive numbers. I bet it won’t be long before you see a bump in published numbers by GM and RAM.
I’d like a report from someone comparing the standard output vs Hugh output. I wonder if you can tell the difference by the seat of your pants?

Negative... the new HO diesel is $12,495.00 over the cost of a gas, the older 6.7 is $9,995.00... for a difference of $2500.00 between the 2 diesels

Where's the 8000lb payload number coming from?
20% of the 40,000lb trailer? You all realize that 20% is not a required minimum for a gooseneck, right? Balance the load over the trailer axles, 40K no problem.

You have to have some pin weight or your load will be all over the road. 15% gooseneck is a reasonable number.
