2112,....Thank you...
I followed your thoughtful instructions and came to a page which had an image of a yellow folder which I clicked on. It gave me an indication that it was empty. I had failed to tell you that I do NOT have a stash of photos in this computer. My 900+ photos are the ones that PhotoBucket is holding. My more recent photos are in my iphone-10 that I acquired (used) a few months ago. the ones in my iphone are the ones I've been wanting to learn how to move into my desk top Dell computor. THerefore, I feel like I need to ask: is it possible to move my iphone photos into my desk top computer such that I can insert one or two into a RVNET post? Now I'm also wondering what is the purpose of IMGUR?

Sorry CD, my instructions were to post a pic to RV.net directly from an iPhone.

I believe my wife uses iTunes to move her pics from her iPhone to her Win10 laptop but not sure. I'll ask her when she gets home.

I avoid Apple products. The rest of my family embraces them.

She plugs her iPhone into her HP laptop and a Photos app pops up. It connects and she transfers pics from her phone to her pc.

The Photos app is part of Win10.

It does say Photos will not transfer from the iCloud

Does this mean that IMGUR does not use the icloud?

It seems unlikely.

On Edit, unlikely that IMGUR uses iCloud.

I found some old notes (in a spiral notebook). It seems like I attempted to subscribe to IMGUR on 8-25-2020. I entered my name, and my stage name, my email address, my password and phone number.
I did not succeed. I submitted a question, and all I got is a six digit number. I'm sure I was using my desk top Dell, which was a hand-me-down from my wife,...which She had repaired and "cleaned out". OR, I might've used a laptop which soon after had a failure of the inverter (no longer available).
Another question I have is: can I access IMGUR by using my desktop Dell (windows 10)...?

I certainly see no reason you can't access IMGUR with your desktop. I've used a laptop, all-in-one, and a desktop PC. Using Windows 7 or Windows 10. Not an issue.

You don't need an IMGUR account to use the RV.net image posting app. 1492 took care of that for us.

This means the Photos app on her laptop can't transfer photos from her iCloud account. It only transfers photos that are stored on her iPhone,
