My Lippert electric tongue jack is making noise and appears to be straining when I raise the tongue of the camper. Is there a way to grease or lube the components of this jack to help with this? Thanks.

As far as I know you have to take it apart. It isn't that difficult to do, I've done one and yes, it helps to grease it. A nice sticky axle grease is what I used and it did quiet it down and made it work easier.

The one I have/had the gearbox can be taken apart and greese can be added. The junk motor was a non-serviceable sealed unit. I ended getting the whole unit replaced under a warranty. Noticed they were fairly priced on amazon.

If I raise my trailer using the battery power it responds differently than if on ground power. The noise is different as well as the speed.
