No standard answer to how long they last: Were the OE shocks "least expensive bid" or "best available"? How many miles on them? Mostly smooth roads or rough ones? Best to TEST THEM: Drive over regular shopping center speed bumps at regular/low speeds. If an axle bounces more than 1.5 times replace the shocks.
