I'm looking for a campground close to Atlanta. My wife wants to go to the aquarium there. I need a 70' long pull through for our MH pulling a trailer. Anyone have any ideas?
Thanks

The most obvious one is Stone Mountain, which is very large. There are several other state parks but none as close.

I stayed at Harvest Moon in Adairsville, GA.. It is just above Atlanta and was very nice with large pull throughs.

On edit ,I just searched the mileage and its a bit longer to down town than I remember at about 50 minutes...

Thanks Ford, I'll check them out. I've stayed at stone mountain, nice park but no sites that will accommodate our size rig.

Not many campsite close to downtown Atlanta, and your 70' pull through will limit your options, it might be better to search outside of Atlanta and stay at hotel close to the aquarium, good luck with your search.

We’ve stayed at Atlanta South RV resort before. Maps shows it to be 28 miles to the aquarium. We only overnighted there so I don’t have a lot to give an opinion on but I remember it being fine. Lots of pull through sites.

Thank you! We’ve done Atlanta south but didn’t have pull throughs that long. We had a different set up then.

Harvest moon looks promising. They have up to 100’ pull throughs.

I'd recommend this park as well. It is always a stop for us on the trek to Florida. Easy in and out for us with our 45' coach and toad.
