The bigger question is how HOT will it eventually get.

Yes we look to what the science says. 3 million years ago when the CO2 level was last this high the sea level was 60 feet higher and in a place such as Virginia the shoreline was 90 miles inland. This is indicated by marine fossils in a quarry. In present day the ice caps will just keep melting until the previous equilibrium is reached. Yes, South Florida will eventually be completely under water.

Can we somehow blame this on Elon Musk and his vast conspiracy involving EPA and its counterparts worldwide, supported by virtually all scientists? And pedophiles, they're involved somehow....[emoticon]

Fascinating. Good for you for taking the contrary position against the vast majority of your fellow scientists. Good science and understanding come from constant questioning and examination of the status quo, so good on you for showing 100 years of scientific research is incorrect. Where are you published?

I'd love to read your research, can you link that here? Is your field of research in this area coming from a geological or climatological approach? How do you square the clear relationships between increased CO2 and rising temperatures? That one is hard to ignore, but it seems you've found other causes.

Nope, you won't find even one legitimate source that disagrees with what the EPA has published in that link. You can't believe in facts and science and deny climate change (or the net benefits of EVs) when virtually all scientists acknowledge it. As for kool aid, it seems to me that climate change deniers often embrace a plethora of other conspiracy theories.

You keep calling people, or me specifically, a client change denier. I'm not, and it has zero relevance on the lack of positive influence EV's have on on it. Ev's aren't green. They will not help the environment.

Why are EV's better again?

That happens when you forget what you were writing about half way into the paragraph, which explains most of your posts.
EVs are better when they have a lower cost of ownership.
Forget all the bull-**** politics and skirt, skirt, skirt and cherry pick that you are writing, I'll make it simple for you: If an electric car means I will spend less money overall, that is what I drive. I have been doing it for 10 years. That is why an EV is better for a some application. I primarily care about my pocket, like most people in this world (or at least the ones who use reason over politics)

Diesel cummins vs EV trucks. Pretty obvious who's the winner here!

Same thing we have been saying for 10 pages, but most people don't bother reading and start yelling politics. EVs today or even in the current technology path, can't compete with ICEs for heavy loads and long distances. Now, for some application, EVs can be significantly better than ICEs thanks to the nature of the design. For the purpose of this trend (24th time) for towing an RV or as an RV powertrain I don't believe is it going to happen any time soon as it is impractical.

Define long distance?

Define heavy loads.

All I will add to all this diatribe is that the real advantage of EV's is efficiency. Why do you think all auto manufacturers world wide have suddenly committed to EV?
More importantly if you want to understand what all the fuss is about experience a Tesla. If you have not driven or ridden in a Tesla you simply will not understand. Talking a ride in a Tesla will be eye opening. Especially if you are over 60 and understand how far auto's have evolved since the carburetor!
After taking a ride in a Tesla you will have a much better understanding of the EV debate. You will understand why Elon is the richest man in the world and can afford to buy Twitter!
He single handily changed the game!
Now you can believe he has mislead the world wide auto industry. You can believe he has duped and mislead government regulators. You can believe the ICE can never be replaced....until you take a Tesla ride.
Or you can comprehend EV is for real. ALL the other issues are just a matter of time, money and winning the propaganda war.
You may disagree with everything I just wrote, but if you experience a Tesla first hand you will likely change you opinion or at least have a better understanding of what the fuss is all about.
