As you can see I have a fifth wheel, and I am trying to find a replacement Deep Cycle battery. Who out there has had good luck with a particular brand for their 5er that lasts. Please include brand and Amp hours or name on battery so I can look it up. The one I have now is less than 2 years old and I believe it is causing me problems.
I have a 12V Dometic fridge, so I will be be relying on it heavily for use. I am usually connected to shore power.

I have been using 2x6V Rolls Surette deep cycle batteries for the last 4 years. No issues to this point. I'm about 50/50 shore power/boondock.
Rolls
Before that, I used a couple of Trojan T105's and replaced them after almost 4 years of 60/40 Boondock/shore power.
Trojan
Before that I had a single (cant remember the brand exactly, but well known) Marine deep cycle (they say) which I used for one season only before upgrading to a true deep cycle battery as opposed to more of a starting battery.
Either Rolls or Trojan work well IMO. I used a 1500W inverter with both setups.
I would never go back to a marine "deep cycle", but that's just me................

“I will be be relying on it heavily for use” - “I am usually connected to shore power“
To me, those two statements are contrary to each other, it should be one or the other.

Do an energy audit. Design a system with 3 days capacity.

This is the battery we used in a bank of 4 on our 5th wheel. They lasted 6 years and were still working but getting weak.

The question is whether or not you have room enough for 2 batteries. Most true wet cell deep cycle batteries are 6 volt which means 2 of them will be required.

Had 8 Trojan 105s in the mh for 14 yrs and looked after them untill 1 shorted out takin with it the controller, mh was plugged into power twice in all that time, 640 watts of panel, so if you look after them they will last, never let them get below 12.2 volts, run 6 of the same in the fw and same results.480 watts of panel.

Currently I have 1 12V unit and can not fit another. It is a Super Start SSB 31DCM. I power a 12V compressor type fridge and all other 12V RV lights, etc. So I need 1 reliable 12V battery. 2 large wont fit. I am looking for something under $200.00. Brand and Model please as there are different models of specific brands of 12V Deep Cycle. I dont think 2 6V will fit.
