Great list. I laughed out loud and then shared with my wife.
Unfortunately, while I did laugh, many of those are not really laughing matters, more sad, but probably very truthful experiences.
BTW - Once I discovered the posting reservation process, I love it. I have mine set to start at top of page 2.

There is an obvious explanation for this! Many members falling between 85-115 are unaware of what is going on when this happens. Grit is not the only one utilizing this secret way of reserving his post spot.
Jerry Well heck, maybe I should read the manual.

The older I get, the more I realize it seems the avg IQ is somewhere around a cool room temperature!
I've noticed you post quite a bit about how stupid folks are, low IQ, etc . Every one of us who has been to school in the US in the past 50 or 60 years is aware of their IQ or at least a percentile. To me it sounds as you are for some reason defensive about intelligence. There is no reason to be, it's how we are born and we can't take credit or blame. FWIW, avg is still 100, with 68% of us falling between 85 and 115. Now knowledge and education are things we can control. Obviously some fields such as math and physics are beyond what many of us can absorb. This isn't a big deal in everyday life, so long as we recognize our limitations. Lecture done. ![wink [emoticon]](https://forums.goodsamclub.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/wink.gif) Also. You know, you're right, all bs aside, I tend to use that term "IQ" alot and I use it probably incorrectly in place of other descriptors that could be used like "no common sense" or " no courtesy."
You're totally right, in that there is a world full of discourteous @ssholes who don't exhibit much common sense that most all have avg or above actual IQs. I should be referencing behavior not intelligence.
It's very hurtful and discriminating against actual simple folk who are polite, resourceful and courteous.
Appreciate the heads up. I've done the same recently with eliminating the R word (also derogatory, r e t a r d) from my use vocabulary, unless I'm talking about engine timing.

Check out at noon and check in at 4:00 is beyond ridiculous especially when nothing was done to the site in those 4 hours!
No need to add fees to your already overpriced rates, especially the ”Resort” fee because you recently painted the sign out front!
And yes charging extra for me using the AC when we both know I’m going to use it because it’s 90+ degrees is again ridiculous.
Your “grass” that is really just weeds isn’t as nice as you think it is. And it’s not my fault I can’t see your imaginary line between the weeds and the thinning 8ft wide gravel pad!
I’m sure you have a decent place, but let’s be realistic, it’s not Blue Water Key, it’s a campground amongst other Ho hum campgrounds!

I guess that's why it's called "free enterprise". I either like or not like what you have to offer as a business and spend my time and money accordingly for anything I do, not just 'camping'. ![smile [emoticon]](https://forums.goodsamclub.com/sharedcontent/cfb/images/smile.gif)
Pretty much if you don't like the rules, fees, amenities, then don't stay at that establishment. There will usually be something else down the road that might fit your needs, or maybe not??
Anyway, I've complained about stuff on this site before and basically got 'roasted' for it.. Never again! ha, ha!!

We've been RVing for about 25 years. The only "bad" campground was in MD. They literally had the gate outside the entrance so that you had to walk a hundred yards to the office to get them to open the gate open so that you could drive in and then check in to get the code for the next time you left and wanted to re enter. It went on and on from there. There were rules posted on trees everywhere, and they were different rules on each tree.
My favorite one was posted on a wooden coat rack standing on an aging concrete pad in the middle of a field. The sign said "no playing here dancing only"
Regardless of all that we enjoyed our stay. It is or was their property so guess what? Behave!

That right there is pretty darn funny.....
Whenever I log in and see the beginning of a page looking strange, like its missing something I say to myself.."I guess Grit posted something".. Sure enough later on I log back in and there is his post, all tucked into the thread like it belongs ! That is what is called a "DELAY" .. kind of like a timeout ! !
There are 1 or 2 others that are lucky enough to be "delayed" that I know......

Park owners are in the people pleasing business, but they please more people when they enforce reasonable rules. I once read a one star park review. The reason was that the park owners stopped them from racing around the campground on their motorcycles at 1am. To me, that was a 5 star review.
