Hi all,

I have a friend with a dual 15 amp (top) 20 amp (bottom) breaker. Would I be able to find such an item at Home Depot or Lowes?

The 15 amp will no longer reset.

I just "googled" it and found multiple listings for Home Depot and Ace Hardware. You didn't mention the brand but they are there.

Ya, we would need the brand and possibly the breaker type such as if it's a bolt in or push in type. I assume it's 15/20 single pole?

You can Tune a Piano but You can't Tuna Fish. Sorry, couldn't resist.

Siemen circuit breakers, among others, are compatible with Eaton CBs.

Eaton's UL classified breakers are designed and tested to be both mechanically and electrically interchangeable with circuit breakers manufactured by General Electric, Thomas & Betts, ITE/Siemens, Murray, Crouse-Hinds, and Square D.

Me either! But I guess I’ve never looked. Learn something new every day.

Now where to I get a breaker 1-9?

We are very fortunate that NEMA came up with the standard 1" breaker in the early 70's. Prior to that time panel makers had type exclusive breakers so that was what you were stuck with forever. That is, unless you replaced that panel with one that can accept the NEMA 1". I have done this in several places one was my barn that had a WhoKnows panel and no spare breakers were available.
