We were thinking about a trip to BBNP and were looking for suggestions for an RV Park. It looks like there are several around the area. We have a 25 foot travel trailer and would like water and electric hook ups. Any suggestions on "must see" parts would be appreciated as well. Looks like a BIG park.

Yes, like Texas--BBNP is large. I recommend that you expand your area of interest to include Big Bend Ranch State Park. Several years ago, we visited BBRSP and took a tour in one of their vehicles with a great driver to see the BBRSP including a waterfall deep in the park. It was an all day trip. I have not checked the BBRSP website to see it tours are still offerred.
Fuel and food are limited in BBNP, so plan accordingly. Hope you enjoy your trip.

In the park, Rio Grande Village has a few full hookup spots.
On the west side of the park, the town of Study Butte has several RV campgrounds and numerous restaurants.
There are about 125 miles of paved roads within the park. Fuel services at Panther Junction and Rio Grande Village. Convenience stores at Rio Grande Village and the Chisos Basin. Restaurant at Chisos Basin.
Super busy at Easter.

We stayed at BJs RV Park for 5 nights. Nothing special, but it was ok as a base camp. Ditto on visiting the BB State Park, it's awesome as well.

You're from Texas so maybe the heat won't bother you. When we were there they didn't have electric, it was run your generator which was fine, but when we'd get back to the MH in the late evening, it would be hot and you couldn't get it cooled off before quiet time so we had to try and sleep in a very hot MH each night. We left early

2X on BJ's in Terlingua for 7 nights last March. IMO nicer than Big Bend Resort down the road. Don't bother going with a clean RV since campgrounds are dusty.

Do NOT go in the summer, nor during spring break (it’s too busy then).
Stay in Terlingua, and spend Sunday afternoon on the porch at the general store.
Go to Lajitas, and buy the mayor, (the Honorable Clay Henry) a beer.
