My wife totaled our Miata that we've been towing for over ten years. Before that car we towed an MR2. No one ever stated that either car was towable but neither car suffered any damage from towing. I'm looking for suggestions beyond the usual Jeep or truck. Any ideas? Bob

What's wrong with another Miata? A Wrangler with top off is sporty too. I've had both and loved each!

Our house is in the pine trees of So Oregon and we stay for six months in the M/H in a seniors park in Mesa, Az So I don't need a Jeep, I may buy back my Miata from the insurance company and repair it myself. The problem is getting it back to my shop in Or. Bob

i sold a car in CA to a buyer in IL. the buyer hired an independent car carrier to transport the vehicle to him. if your Miata runs and can move under its own power that may be an option for you.

Ship it (likely $1000+), minimum repair so it's drivable, trailer tow it with the MH or other vehicle.

Since you had a Miata ( I had one too ) now may be a good time to get a “bigger” car. My wife has a 2018 Mini Cooper S Convertible. Only problem is it’s an automatic which means it can’t be flat towed, but the manuals can. It’s a fun car, with good power.

Might want to take a look at a Fiat Abarth. I believe BlueOx makes base plates for models up to 2019 or 2018.
