I have a 2018 six cylinder Tacoma and am thinking of towing a large U-haul trailer a thousand miles .
According to my manual I should be able to.
Has any one here with a Tacoma done it and can tell me if they would recommend to do it or not to.

Haven't done it myself but have towed w a 6 cyl 1991 4RNR and I would say go for it w the usual precautions about weather, having good tires, avoiding rush hours, increase following distance and limiting your speed. Just don't get in a hurry and you'll be fine.

Depends on how large and weight of the loaded trailer.

OP states "According to my manual I should be able to." so I'm figuring he's already considered the size and weight of the trailer and is looking for confirmation from us.

Yes, looking for some one with the same vehicle that has done it

I have a 1st generation Taco . 2004 V6 5 speed. Once towed a car on dual axle Uhaul car trailer. It was terrible and dangerous. Don't know what you are towing but I don't think a small sport truck like a Taco is NOT good for heavy loads.

Does the trailer have brakes?
