Hello! I have no idea what Good Sam is other than it's obviously an RV company. I received an email last week stating "congratulations on your new Good Sam's credit card opening" I don't own an RV. Ive never heard of Good Sam. Someone has stolen my information and it's literally impossible to get ahold of anyone at the associating Bank due to needing the phone number it was opened with. How do you cancel a credit card when they are pretending to use your information wrongly when you can't even get in contact with the bank? I'm super frustrated. Any advice would be great thank you

Another tip is to lock your credit reports so another one could not be opened as soon as you cancel the first one. No credit report available = no credit card/loan/line of credit.

Check your own credit to see if it's true. Most of those kinds of spam are just to get you to reply and answer a lot of questions to give up your personal info.
Also, hover over the senders address to see if it really came from GS or has some suspicious extension. I get those all the time (from other sources) and just ignore them.

you probably are "pre approved" and suckered in to signing for one in the fine print.
I currently have been flooded with various "fedx" etc. that they are having trouble delivering a package, and I hae won about 1,000 various tool kits, etc from lowes/Home depot, etc.

You could have just got a phishing email disguised as a Good Sam email. I hope you didn’t respond to that email. My BIL had his email account hacked and now I’m getting about 80-100 junk emails every single day. I’ve blocked most of them, but they’re getting slick by generating random email server addresses. Sickening.

I doubt that Good Sam really has anything to do with the credit cards issued in their name. I believe Comenity Capital Bank issues those cards. You might want to contact them as well.
