To me, it looks like was rear-ended, bending frame. Then to keep using they put a bed off a later model pickup.

I see dudes like this frequently on the 580 in Nevada. Usually carrying many super heavy rolls of carpeting, paver bricks, firewood, etc. and I keep my distance. Never seen one stopped by HP. They only do 5 over. Yep.
