Hi All,
Looking for a campground to stay at while visiting Shenandoah National Park. Preference was state & national park campgrounds but they are all fully booked. Any recomendations for a park in close proximity to the N.P. would be appreciated. Maybe something around Bentonville or Luray would be good. Planning on leaving in a couple of weeks so this is last minute planning. Thanks.

Loft Mountain Cg in the park (A Loop) is First come first serve, https://www.recreation.gov/camping/campgrounds/232433 There are other FF in the CG, but A loop is generally the best, (flattest).

They Do have reservable sites, I've just personally not found them as nice as A Loop.
