I haven't talked to anybody in Air Quality in a long time but last time I did the guy I talked to said CARB was trying to outlaw my 2006 John Deere tractor. I don't know about the rest of you but a 2006 tractor with 325 hours on it is brand new to me...
Turtle - I understand how you would feel if you had an outlawed JD. I am willing to help you out. I can assist you with compliance if the time comes. Maybe we could find a CyberTruck to tow it to the California border.
Maybe there will be a cash for tractors, where they pay you to get a new electric tractor?
Lol. Sad but, well, sad.
We should start a go fund me for all Californians that are stuck there and having their personal freedoms wiped out before their own eyes!
I’ll think of you guys while I’m using my 2 stroke weed whipper and gas powered mower!
CA is banning emissions. Florida is banning books.
Polluting is not a "personal freedom."
Why do the mods allow these bash CA to continue? The last 4 pages are a political rant.

Thanks for contributing to the rant. But we already knew where you stood…
The fact of the matter is, not just accepting, but glorifying and condoning things like underage sex and “alternate” genders is just sooo wrong.
And ya you’re right, the thread started as a political thread. No secret.

Politicians love to pass laws that don’t go into effect until they are long gone from office. And the few that are still around should it go bad will either deny they had anything to do with it passing or blame the other side for botching the implementation. Taking responsibility should a law backfire is not in any politician’s playbook.

Haha, well stated!
But regardless of political stance or otherwise, you can’t put everything into effect immediately and part of our political leaders’ roles are to be forward looking.
As well as represent and effect the desires (which is dangerous when one allows people with no mental capacity or desire to effect anything other than their own personal situation, which may be wholly a product of their greed) of their constituents.
It’s a balance for sure. And the reason the advantages and disadvantages of different political structures is so highly debatable.

Name one living person anywhere in the world that is not polluting in one way or another; either directly or indirectly. It seems the biggest bitchers are the biggest hypocrites: i.e.: Al Gore, the guy that takes private jets that could seat 40 people to climate conferences solo.

Gotta say, I sure enjoyed the video of Fish and his new neighbors! I stayed at a Motel 6 in Oakland, by the coliseum, years back. Was unloading a bit of luggage, when a car pulled up next to me, girl screaming, "help me, my boyfriend has been stabbed". Yup, she was right about that! He's laying in the backseat, bleeding a lot, soaked all through his white t-shirt. Anyway, like the video implied, here comes the police, rescue squad, fire truck, canine corps, and you guessed it, a chopper.
They took him in the room across from mine, treated him, argued with him/her, as they refused to go to hospital.

I see this topic has become a popular thread since it is argumentative and controversial. I wonder how many angels can dance on a pin head????
Cheers to those few with common sense including me. Happy trails to you
