On Thursday 3/23 our car would crank but not start. I called our local GMC dealer which is 7 miles from my house and set up an appointment. Then I called Good Sam Roadside and they contacted a service provider that was 75 miles away (I have 2 local wreckers within 3 miles of me). The wrecker service called and informed me that I would owe them an additional $17.50 since the dealer was more than 2 Miles away and that Good Sam only paid for a 2 mile tow and after that it was on me for $3.50/mile after that, so I paid. If it had been more I would have lit Good Sam up (even though I didn't talk to a real person when I set it up) but I was busy on other projects. This was your vendor not mine. Not angry, just think there should be better communication between Good Sam and their vendors
Thanks, John

Mike. Comments are anecdotal or personal opinions, and worth what you paid for them.

When I had Good Sam take my truck to the Ford dealer, they said that anywhere under 15 miles was covered even thought they had to drive past 3 repair shops to get to the Ford dealer.
