I'm upgrading my manual pull awning to power and need to know which wire gauge to use. I haven't been able to find any amps or wattage for the motor.

Any ideas?

Found this at Etrailer.com

It suggests 14 gauge wire.

I read the etrailer link as 12/2 brake cable.
description says 14/2
12/2 would have less voltage drop

Motors don't like low voltage. Go for the 12 2 or even 10 2
