How is this road from Lincoln over to I 29? Will be pulling a 36' fiver.

Last time we used route 2 from I29 to Lincoln was May, 2016. It's a divided highway all the way, 2 lanes each side. If you are interested, the Nebraska Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center is the first left after crossing the Missouri river bridge into Nebraska. We did an overnight at Victorian Acres RV Park on the right about 1/2 mile past the bridge.
Enjoy your trip!

Overall it's a good road I have been using it for a number of years. There's a tricky area as you get into or leaving Lincoln. Going east it's not bad but west there's a sharp left turn with an island that can be confusing. There's also a short section in Lincoln that has moderate to heavy traffic and numerous traffic lights but it's very doable.

Sandhills Scenic Byway
Nebraska Route 2 is real real nice, a great alternative to I-80. We had a blast travelling it a couple years ago, from the Iowa border all the way up to Chadron. Floated down the river near Thedford.

Just did 4 hours worth of Nebraska secondary roads today. Most impressed.
With the exception of a small section of 91 west of Halsey, great 65mph roads.
