Has anyone replaced the LED Strip in the roller tube using the shortcut method of cutting a slit in the end cap? I know this works fine for fabric replacement. I then plan on using the existing wires avoiding dealing with the torsion spring.

Thanks for the suggestions. We did have the valves closed and opened only when we wanted to dump but they still came up thru the hose. Will try some of the suggestions and cross our fingers.
