I just put a deposit down on a small couples camper, 2024 Jayco Jay Flight SLX 195RB.  Am going to pick it up next week.  One of the first upgrades I want to do is a power tongue jack.  My last TT that I sold in 2020 had one I purchased from recommendations here.  It worked out well, but I can't remember the brand.  The new camper will only have about 400 to 600 lbs tongue weight.  Recommendations? ... TIre recommendations? We are towing 8500# travel trailer. We’ve had numerous blowouts with China bombs over the years, partly due to Texas heat and high speeds. We are over the blow outs and need something that will hold. We currently have 15” but looking to go to 16” LT that can handle higher speeds of 75mph. What has worked for you with the higher speeds? We went from a 30' Class A Motor Home to a 25' travel trailer.  I am installing a Smart RV monitoring system by TireMinder. My Mum just recently purchased a 1995 Aljo Travel Trailer 30' with slide and I am trying to repair some broken water lines and looking for where they are directed to make repairs. the one line above the rear left tire goes into a tee then goes up a wall and is broken.  Hoping for diagrams or info to reduce the amount of work to make repairs.   ... Over the years our family has transitioned from a Coleman tent trailer to a KZ bunkhouse with rear queen bed slide and now a Keystone Sprinter 5er. The kids are grown and gone, my knees are bad and my wife hates the steps up to the 5er bedroom. Its time for a new to us bumper pull trailer. We've probably spent 50 hrs between the two of us researching used trailers, reading reports, watching youtube videos etc and we're confused as all HECK! We want a couples trailer floor plan, 24' - 30', at least one slide, true queen bed. Sleeping more than the two of us is not a necessity but being able to seat 4-6 people for board games, movies or conversation would be nice. No need for washer/dryer hookups or anything fancy like that. Our budget is maxed at about 15k. We both retire in two years and want to do the occasional 1-3 week road trips. My wife prefers hookups vs boon docking. Our tow vehicle is a 2001 Dodge CTD 2500 QCSB 2wd, factory camper/tow package with 70k on the clock in pristine condition. I'm a diesel nut and have done all the engine/transmission upgrades needed to handle a decent sized trailer (I figure 10,000lbs or so). I'm not opposed to buying a HA or PP hitch. So, for those of you in our situation, what trailers do you have and why do you like them? I'm more interested in chassis/build integrity vs fancy decals and outside kitchens. Okay just got 2007 open road RV second hand parked at an RV park living in it permanently had Electric for the first week in the overhead lights had the furnace going and all the buttons that operate the slide outs we're lit up we're working even the ignition to the hot water heater and everything just trying to work on getting that going but refrigerator was working too well I accidentally hit the middle button to the three slide outs one day with my elbow in the cabinet okay I heard kind of like the slide out in the kitchen trying to move but not really moving like maybe overloaded or something it wouldn't go anymore I don't know how to explain it okay from there on electricity went out it popped a breaker pop the breaker back on take all the fuses take the breakers outside at the Box I cannot get any electricity to any of the slide outs to any of the buttons to the furnace and I am at a loss first time on an RV I don't know is there anybody that might know if there is another fuse panel somewhere that is behind a wall or something it's all the breakers are working all the fuses are working and I don't know what to do to get this stuff going again I checked everything somebody please help me now all the plugins are working there's a fan there's been I guess maybe put in or if it already come with the trailer I don't know I don't have an orders man I don't know nothing but that overhead light is working along with the fan get somebody help me I don't know what to do I'm living in it permanently and I have no matter loss some kind of help furnace isn't running I'm in freezing had to throw away $200 of food I can't afford that I'm disabled none of the rocker switches work for the lights anything I don't know calling over anything and everything I could it was the guy I bought it from did not indicate he broke one of the main holders to the leveling out of the thing and he sat it down they set it down crooked and just hauled ass and I have been battling trying to get this thing leveled out finally got some welder we welded the thing together and I still have to go out there and level it out but I have no electricity to all that overhead lights were working on regular electricity I didn't have a battery I don't have a battery but they were working on regular electricity now they're not I don't know help me please I'm drowning just got a divorce at that and I don't need this extra crap if you know what I mean my loss I need somebody's help please ...
