Looking for an easy route, scenery is nice, but wide roads and rest stops and walmarts are higher priorities this trip ๐Ÿ™‚

the last time I took the 64 route there seemed to be lacking facilities in E KY and WVA. might have changed by now.

We used to use I-70 for many trips until we discovered the I-64 route.

again thanks for the suggestions. we're familiar with the 64 to I-81, so will probably take that route. ๐Ÿ™‚

After St. Louis, I prefer I-64 to I-81 to I-66. I-64 has less traffic and much better scenery than I-70.

From Kansas City, straight through on I-70. At Fredric, MD, take 270 straight to Washington D.C. Can't get any more direct than that.
