How is US 20 from Waterloo IA to Sioux City IA for a 40 foot Class A motorhome? Any low clearances or other issues to be concerned about? Thanks for your time.

Unless they added some bridges in the last few years..... We took 20 from Dubuque Iowa all the way to Wyoming with NO troubles with our 13' (high) plus fifth wheel. VERY relaxing drive, lots of places to stop and get fuel, poty stops and of course food. :B There's a city park in O Neil Nebraska you can stay in for free, (they accept donations) electric and water with a dump station.

That was a memorable trip, traveling the back roads is just a better, low stress way to see the country!

Modern 4 lane controlled access highway. Good to go. The small towns are now bypassed. 50 year upgrade completed.

I have driven US 20 with a Toyota RV. The road was in good shape, the little towns were fun, and gas prices were good. I did not find any problem areas even if you are driving a large 5r
