I bought one like this many years ago for the few times my wife went hunting with me. Just tie the bag and drop it in the next trash bin.

Most of the worlds population do not use flush toilets. Much of the worlds population has no toilet facility of any type. It isn't complicated, your ancestors knew what to do.

Seriously, a foldable army shovel, wipes and a thick enough shrub will do it.

Just bury the remains under at least 1 foot of dirt.

WE have a camper van that has a porta-potty closet and take it any time we leave town, so we have no problem finding a potty.

My wife bought a small pop up incloser that sets up in less than a minute and a 5 gal bucket with a potty lid. She put a small trash bag in it with kitty litter. That what she uses while were out fishing on the pontoon boat.

Lots of good suggestions in this thread.

If you don't want to take along a potty, but you're at the point in your life where getting up and down off the ground is not practical, may I recommend a log? If you find the right log, you can kind of hang your butt off the far side of it. Of course this is not a desert solution.

I've got plastic bags, a roll of toilet paper in a ziplock bag and a small folding shovel in the cab of the truck under the rear seat just for an emergency. I have also carried a porta potty and a pop up shower tent in the back of the truck when I was going to be driving up to my father's property for most of the day.

Not sure where to post this but wondering what folks do when traveling on remote roads with few or no bathroom facilities available and a sudden urge to p*%p strikes and the need is urgent.
We find the older we get the more this develops into an emergency. Situation.
Would you haul around a small pop trailer (like an Aliner)? We can't be the only people that have this happen, how do you handle this?
I know some will find humor in this but for some this is a real world problem.
I thank you in advance.

Well ... we bought a small motorhome so we wouldn't have to tow to get around in ... which means that our motorhome is what we use to travel with on remote roads.

Hence, the toilet in the motorhome is always right there handy for us to use. [emoticon]
