DW just got home from the supermarket, she parked the CRV in the parking lot and went shopping.
Came out and found the car with the windows and the sun roof open, still locked and nothing missing.
I did a search and to my chagrin found numerous stories about this issue, it seems that the car likes to have its windows and sunroof open so it takes care of that on its own.
It appears that if you press the lock on the remote twice and hold it down long enough the second time the windows and sunroof will open on their own.
If this is supposed to be a convince feature I don't like it, will call the dealer tomorrow.

My Ford F550 at work does that as well if I press the lock button and then hold it

Makes sense to me.. You are in AZ it's sunny out and about 250 degrees inside the car.. You open windows and sunroof and it vents. now it's only `100 inside the car.

FACT. I used to wrap up a hotog or other pre-cooked lunch and leave it on the dash of my north facing car. IN MICHIGAN IN JANUARY and by lunch time it was good and hot I had to let it cool a bit before I could eat. SNOW on the ground but the meal was properly heated. Think about this folks. IN MI, in Jan facing NORTH and on the north side of a building.

Imagine AZ in August facing south.

Home is where I park it.

Yup, had an '05 Acura with that all windows open feature via the remote, as well as a mid-90's VW too.

No animated winders but....
My little AMG, four or five years ago, Dad's last cousin on his Mom's side passed.
I went to in place of Dad, passed some time ago himself. I couldn't remember the name of the funeral home but the small town, I put in the main street address I would drive down it and fidn the funeral home.
Got to town and GPS said turn right, destination ahead on the right so many feet. It was off a few feet but no name nor address, how did the GPS find it?

I just wish the engineers would set it up to put the windows up with the remote as well.
