As long as you are traveling HWY 19 to Cuba you need to stop off at Herman MO. An old German town lots to see and do. Great rv park just before Herman Laxy Days

A bit further south would take you to Echo Bluff State Park. Very new with FHU sites, lodge, restaurant and free roaming wild (not very) horses.

My rule is to ALWAYS pull a trailer on a scenic road.

Charles Kuralt had it right:

Its a good scenic typical Ozark road. However if you want to make time its not the road to do it on. I would either go back to St. Louis and catch 44 or go to west on 70 to Kingdon City and take 54 to 5 to 44. We drive that all the time its a good heavy traveled road.

It's gets more curvy south of Salem but you aren't headed that far.

Yes, I have. Itโ€™s windy and a little hilly but not enough so to avoid. Donโ€™t expect to make very good time though.

I was pulling a 30โ€™ FW with a long bed, crew cab dually. No white knuckles but it took awhile.

Thanks! We are in no hurry!

When I don't know, I consult my Motor Carrier's Atlas. The routes approved for truckers are highlighted. If it's approved for them it's approved for me. Haven't been disappointed. Available at any truck stop.

According to my Rand McNally Atlas it shows it is a scenic road and my rule is NEVER to pull a trailer on a scenic road.
