They are about 6 miles from Sidney, and just west of Hwy 385. There also seems to be windmill arms and a pretty good sized junk yard, or as some would say, "a place to store collectables." Any ideas as to the reason for these bunkers? I'm not seeing any bunkers...unless you're referring to the large number of circular brown areas around Sidney. Google bomb storage bunkers Sidney ne and tells you all about it. I watched the video and that's the place. Missile history in the western central portion of our United States is quite prevalent. I know there are several silos in the area--in fact, if one goes to Google Earth. Dix, NE. there is a live silo just about 100 yards from exit 29 off I-80. I've visited it twice. Humbling to be near such a potential for destruction.
