Brigham City to Alpine

Heading to Alpine tomorrow from Brigham City, original plan is 15 north to Idaho Falls, then east on 26 to Alpine. I'm considering 15 north to 30 then 34 to 89 into Alpine. Driving a 38' Expedition DP towing a Tahoe, wondering how steep is 30 to 34 to 89? Is this a reasonable route for my rig? Thx in advance.

Not too long ago someone posted asking about the same route and the response was that the 15 to 30 to 34 to Alpine was just fine and that person was towing a fifth wheel. State of Idaho has a web site with video cams on these routes. You can check it out HERE
