Within the past few hours there have been multiple shootings in Chattanooga TN. There is very little information available yet, but some roads are closed and the situation is still unstable. If you are traveling in or through the area, you might want to check it out before proceeding. There may be road blocks or other delays. lizzie

The shooting was at the Naval & Marine Reserve Center on Amnicola Highway (SR 319). The Army Recruiting Center was locked down as a precaution.

The shooter is dead and there is no longer an active shooting situation. Four military personnel and 1 police officer injured.

Hospitals and community colleges locked down as a precaution.
