Cold fronts that reach as far south as Zihuatanejo or Acapulco are pretty rare. Usually they peter-out around Mazatlan. And then even a strong cold doesn't end up being "cold" South reaching cold fronts come from the west/northwest
It reduces humidity makes the sky bluer, and sag temperatures 4-5 degrees.
Anyway it looks like one is coming. They add a little variety to the "same as yesterday" regimen.
