Hwy 84 in New Mexico from I-40 to I-25

How is the condition of Hwy 84 in New Mexico from I-40 to I-25? We have a 34 foot 5th wheel.

Not a problem. We drove it last fall with our fifth wheel. As you get nearer Las Vegas, it is actually fairly scenic.

good road, scenic views, I-25 S of 84 is a detour to frontage road from mile 330 to 323.

Drove on US HWY 84 a few years ago. Don't remember road conditions being particularly bad. During the winter, be sure and check weather conditions beforehand (pretty high elevation in that area).

Sorry, no experience with 84 north of I40. South of I40, 84 is absolutely horrible.
