Orbital Antares Launch from Wallops on VA eastern Shore

Is on schedule for 12:52 PM today. Boat in hazard area but on the way out. Worth looking that way IMHO in about 25 minutes

We scouted a place to watch from our boat the day before the launch and then launch day was way too windy for the boat. We watched from a restaurant in Greenbackville, VA, only a few miles away. The launch was okay but really doesn't compare to a night launch. We watched the Ladee mission launch from Wallops last September I think and it was spectacular at night.

After it goes into the clouds, they switch to a launch animation of the rocket.... watch the speed in the middle box! That thing hauls the mail!
