Looking for Port Angeles Campground/RV Park recommendation

We're looking at taking a trip to the Olympic Peninsula towards the end of April. I'm looking for recommendations on where to camp when we make day trips to Hurricane Ridge and possibly Victoria. We have a 33ft 5th wheel that needs to be accommodated.

Thanks

Gilgal Oasis in Sequim is tight, but will accommodate your rig. Sequim is about 20 miles closer to ONP and the Victoria Ferry than Port Townsend. Sequim also has a Costco if that's important to you.
One measure of a person is how they treat someone who can be of no particular use to them.

Another vote for Elwha RV Park. Try ****-a-doodle donuts in Port Angeles.

I have to second the Elwa Dam RV campground. We stayed there for several nights in the fall of 2016. The owners go out of their way to make you feel welcome and run a good clean park. It's conveniently located to many of the sites in the area and the Blackball ferry to Victoria. Be sure to try Togas Soup House Deli in Port Angeles. The soup and sandwiches are outstanding. Thanks for sharing that. Elwha Dam came up on one of my early searches and I was wondering if anyone would recommend it.

I'll NEVER be an "EXPERT" (In math.X is an unknown factor and a "SPURT" is just a drip - under pressure)

Yep, did that. I'd be happy to be wrong if you want to go and double check me.

The first place I looked into was Salt Creek. But they have no site availability during the week we'll be there (in fact, I looked through 2 months and never found a vacancy for their hookup sites).

I'll look into the KOA and Fort Worden. Thanks!

Fort Worden State Park, Port Townsend. Easy for day tripping to those two places.
