I was looking at the web site and just noticed the Devils Garden trail is closed. We have a plan to camp there next week and hike around with our boys. Is it still worth stoping there with the closers?

I wish we had time. That will be on my list next time. I hope to make this an annual event!

We are not going to make it to Canyonlands this time around. I do plan on going back in a few years and that will be on the list. Also, no 4X4's, would love to have one behind our RV though!! Thanks for the tip.

Since you will be over by Bryce, be sure and come further south on the 89A and see the North Rim of the GC. Alot less crowded, and every bit worth the trip IMO.

Thanks! I'll check it out!

You didn't say the age of your boys but there's a awesome hike called 'Fiery Furnace' that is ranger-led and requires advance reservations. Not sure of the age requirements. Call now and see if you can schedule it.

Sure, there are numerous great things to see in that park, including the hike to Delicate Arch, the one to the Windows etc. Devils Garden is the end of the road but there are plenty of great arches before you get there.

If you were planning to camp there inside the park, you have reservations at the Devils Garden Campground, right? If so, from the way the website alert reads, you can still drive on in. If you didn't have reservations, you probably would have found it fully booked anyway.

Don't let that stop you from visiting. Lots to do besides Devils Garden.

Devils Garden is not rated as one of the best trails in the park. We have visited Arches several times and have opted not to do this trail each time.
