Appears you are correct. Also, came across Dickinson ND. Wow, that's a whole other world I've not seen.

IMO - He's not "camping" or "RVing"..:S..:S

*If* the video info is correct, it's somewhere in the Bakken Oil Fields.
He's likely towing the... Williston Hilton!!..:W

Plenty of jobs - but housing (of any kind) is at a premium.,:(

You take what you can get.
*ANY* trailer is a "hot" deal.
If it's got wheels, you put it wherever you can or where they will allow you to park it....means: might have to relocate now and then!

Sooooo (a guess!):
The guy bought a 5th wheel, nothing (no pickup) to move it with..:@

But.....He's solved his problem..;)

~

On edit:
If you Google: - "Williston, North Dakota"
you will find lots of pics, and info.

Example from "The Guardian" newspaper:
"Welcome to Williston, N.D. Americas new Gold Rush City"

The most expensive place to rent new housing *ISN'T*
Miami, LA, or even New York.

Thanks to the fracking boom Walmart pays $20. an hour,
McDonalds pays a $300 bonus just to sign up.

New arrivals sleep in shipping containers (they're modified with bunks) - or wherever they can!

Motel 6 is $110 per night - full to capacity....which is an improvement over sleeping three to a tent - in winter!..:W

I tried to zoom on the video but the resolution is too bad. It looks like two ball hitches wrapped together with rope! :E

I really hope it was just a need to move across the lot, as it looks like the landing gear is going to scrape on the slightest bump. :E

Good grief! I was thinking it was another post of a fifth wheel hitch that really does attach to the bumper mount on a suburban. Not this!

Somethings really do make a lot more sense when the person proposing it is high as a kite!

It looks like a crash looking for a place to happen.

The back of the Suburban is raised, I'm guessing from the weight of the 5er pulling it up. That can't be good for traction.

Just about the time you think you've seen it all, you see something like this. :E

I like people who think outside the box. Heck, the trailer doesn't know which direction it's going. The hitch setup would be the issue for me without a bunch of welding first. Tongue weight would be like zero without some ballast.
If I came up behind that back in the day, I would have pulled over and let it wear off :).
