Coach/Lippert electric steps

I’m replacing the motor on the coach/Lippert electric steps. I cants get the mounting screws to lineup. Any suggestions on what I’m doing wrong. Thanks in advance for any suggestions. Mike

If you can not get the holes to line up one of two conditions exists.

One. rotate the motor the holes are not 120 degrees apart so there is only one way they fit.

Two: wrong motor

They do line up, but you have to be EXACT. It is very frustrating. You have to line up all 6(3 pairs) bushing barrels and then run the bolts thru. I use a cordless drill with the 10mm socket to help. I also soak the upper area with WD 40 before removing the old motor bolts and then liberally spray WD 40 into the threaded slots. Doug

I had to open up the holes in the steps to make mine fit. They were off just a bit. I used a carbide bit on a die grinder. Just make sure you open them up in the right direction.
