2003 Mandalay runs great then I stop for fuel or rest for about 20 min and get back on road I lose power. Its like the engine is not getting fuel top speed 45. after awhile sometimes it picks up speed and its ok. The rest of the day ,I have changed filters on the road and per fill them before I put them on, any ideas? Seem like its only when I stop for a short time , but again not all the time.

As your fuel runs low in your tank, your in-tank fuel pump will get warmer. I suspect that your in-tank fuel pump is on the verge of failing. This can easily be checked by using a pressure gauge to check fuel pressure at your fuel rail.

Do not cool engine down before I turn it off will try. Also if that dose not work will look in adding fuel pump. Thanks everyone

Install a in line electric pump between tank and engine, sounds like vapor lock, this will eliminate the problem.

fuel filter Low flow to injectors . Water in fuel . Your 2003 may mot have those diagnostics., Loss of power is a fuel supply or overheating issue.

Do you idle the engine for a couple of minutes to cool it down before you shut it off?
