How to service a generator located under the rear of an RV

I have a 1997 Roadtrek 190 Versatile. The generator is the original with the RV and just start having problems with stalling after the AC unit is turned on. I have changed the air filter, run a Seafoam/gas mixture through the carburetor and engine and changed the spark plug. Because the unit is underneath the rear of RV, I don't know how to get to the fuel filter to replace it. Does anyone have any experience with this situation?

I had a 2002 Roadtrek 170 and had the same issues you are having. I ended up dropping the generator. My fuel filter was in the back left corner. I replaced it and the carburetor along with cleaning out a rats nest under the cooling shroud. When I put it back in it fired up on the first crank and handled the A/C and microwave without even a stutter.

No one ( or hardly anyone) lives here anymore - best bet is to ask over on this other forum.
