Looking to consolidate data traffic on 1 sim, do I put it in my old net gear mifi device or use my 8th gen iPad as the hotspot? Any idea which would work better?

On another forum folks talk about all the hoops they have to jump through with their Incompatable Operating System hot spots. We who use Android hotspots just sit back and smile.

Odds are you do not have the hardware that does not like I-Stuff but I still recommend against it.

I agree with this response. Except that I think you meant an external cell phone antenna and booster system.

You would be correct.

If the Netgear product has a far better WiFi antenna and can get better reception, then go with the Netgear. Otherwise, the iPad should work well enough. Either way you may want to look into an external WiFi booster antenna.
