You may want to consider taking this one seriously, and patch your systems if you haven't already done so? My enterprise environment in pushing patches to countless thousands of our staff computers and servers today.

Microsoft issued security patches for a Remote Desktop Services vulnerability which can allow an attacker to access your computer from the internet, without authentication. Nor requiring access interaction from you which is what Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) would normally prompt you first. You can find a short MS article here.

Essentially, an attacker could easily install malware while bypassing security on your system remotely without interaction on your part.

Microsoft pushed these patches if you elected WIN 10 auto updates. If not, or on WIN 7/8, you can find the patches to manually install yourself here.

NOTE: This thread is for the benefit of WIN users who may not have read or heard previous news reports. Not an opportunity to espouse one OS over another. Such 'off-topic' comments will be deleted. Thanks.
