Anyone who drives an RV should have to watch these videos.

RV Tire Information Videos.
http://www.michelinrvtires.com/tires/tires-101/tire-maintenance-and-safety/how-to-handle-a-blowout/
They are about 20 minutes long, so if you have a dial up it may take quite a while. You can request a copy of the video to be sent to you.

I would totally agree. This is invaluable to anyone driving any size vehicle. We teach many people each year how to safely operate their RV and I insist that our instructors minimally explain how to deal with the common blow out, or rapid air release discussed in the video.

I just checked the links in my original post, and they seem to be working fine.

Can you add the advisability of reading these two documents to your original post? Many folks don't realize what it takes to be sure you are not overloadiug your tires or axles.

THANK YOU, Rodger. Those were both very informative to me. Very, very informative. I am always worried about a blow-out (under inflated tire!) I now have the confidence to handle it should it occur.
I agree, EVERYONE should view these films.

thanks

Thank you very much. I now have a good base to build on in maintaining my tires as well as good information regarding rapid deflation and the handling of such a situation.
