I read it and thought it deserved the top of the list of nonfiction lists buzz for this past year. The sad reality of circumstances but people doing the best they can do. An opportunity to walk in someone else shoes through armchair traveling. The people she met were interesting, motivated, adventurous, spunky, positive despite their trials and tribulations.
