I removed a couple decals, leaving some residue behind. What products have you guys found to be best/safest for removal? I have some Goof Off, but have never used it on the trailer before. Thanks!

Acetone is the standard for working around fiberglass. I used to build fiberglass sail boats.

If you have some kicking around, try some Lysol toilet cleaner. You can mix it with hydrogen peroxide if you want to thin it. Don't know if it will work on decal marks but it works great for getting stains of my boat's gelcoat.

Uhhh no. Muratic acid (HCl) is good at dissolving mineral deposits and and organics. It's not a solvent for rubber/glue products. However it will do a great job at rusting any bare steel it touches or oxidizing aluminum severely and as a bonus it will etch your concrete driveway.

LOL, I use camp fuel or Kerosene. Won't hurt paint and we all probably have some. Use it for bug and tar removal on paint too.

This is what I used to remove decals and the glue residue. Worked absolutely fantastic:

Since I have had WD40 on hand at all times since age 17, thatโ€™s my choice...but not for bicycle lubrication. .

The first two mentioned (Goo-Gone and WD40 {basically Stoddard solvent and mineral oil})are good choices. I'll add any of the citrus oil ones, like PB Blaster.

Just did mine a few weeks ago with Goo Gone, worked fine, no issues. All the dealer decals gone, looks much cleaner!

3M adhesive remover when I removed some of my decals worked great. Basically melts the adhesive.

I use Unbelievable! Un-Goo, but it is hard to find at times. Works on anything sticky.

This from 3M.

It was recommended to get the clear bra off my car. I have used it for that, as well as removing adhesive from permits that are on my windshield, as well as on my fiberglass boat and aluminum fishing boat.

Works way better than anything else I have tried (including goo gone and WD40.
