Just returned from an absolutely wonderful time (nearly 3 weeks) exploring the mountains of NC and VA. This is the third summer in a row we've used our summer vacation to explore traditional music (mostly old time and bluegrass) in the area where it originated. We met a lot of great people and saw some really interesting places. I've been writing about it on my travel blog, but I have a bit of a delay between writing and publishing.
