15k Dometic. Literally brand new. Before I installed the Microair Easy start, confirmed it ran... but never tried running it for any length of time. Put on the easy start... and it really works well, but again, never confirmed it ran for any length of time.
Microair people are gone for the weekend. Searching the internet showed a lot of potential issues, so I drew a lifeline and called a friend ๐ A very very highly qualified friend. We run through all the usual suspects, which I had already done. Then he asks, did you check the barrier between hot air return and cold air... well no I didn't. Turns out that wasn't the issue.
BUT, I'm looking at the thermister/thermocouple and it's tucked up out of the way of the airflow. BINGO, bend it so it's in the airstream, and not picking up radiant temp and/or some leakage from the cold air side, and it works. I stopped measuring the A/C temp when it got to 24ยฐF below ambient. Don't know how cold it will get to, but this air was COLD.
