Low Water Pressure

When we turn on the kitchen faucet, the water pressure is good but then it slows down. the pressure in the park is really good, i believe the bathroom faucet still has good pressure but maybe not. we have a regulator on which is 50 to 55 and is new

It's either a kink in your hose or a clogged screen somewhere. One trick I learned is to always turn on the campground spigot for a second, turn it off and then hook up your pressure regulator and hose. It seem earwigs and other critters love to take up residence in the hose bibs when no hose is hooked up.

If you don't blow them out of there before hooking up you will find them blocking the first screen.

Weirdโ€ฆthe cheapo in-line regulators like the first one seem to do just fine. Avoid like the plague? Lol
Must be another Geezer.net wives tale!

PS not saying they donโ€™t limit flow. I suppose they may but itโ€™s never kept us from doing dishes, taking a shower or flushing the terlet.

Describe your regulator Or better yet I will.

It's a round cylinder about 3/4 " in diamater may have a bright plastic grip on the female end or wings on the body.

They do limit pressure. but they also limit flow

A Valterra adjustable (Looks nothing like that cylinder)
or Watts or zurin "Bell shaped" half inch or larger will solve your problem.

The "Bell" shape refers to the top half of the regulator body.. The bell's mounting bolt is the pressure adjustment.

Turn on the water pump and see if the same thing happens. If it does, the problem is in the trailer. If it does not, the problem is the supply TO the trailer.

As others have said, the screens in your fixtures and water pump are probably clogged.
