Do you guys know if this size tire will fit a stock 2015 diesel Ram 3500 SRW truck. I have 245/70r19.5 Michelin's on now that are about dead, and I would like to get some of the higher rated 265/70r19.5 Toyo M608Z tires. The m608z 245's are rated around 4500lbs & the 265's are around 5500lbs.

smooth1, Simple Tire has great pricing, but you'll have to get them mounted locally, which can be a pain!

Thanks. Looks like those Hankook DH07 245's are the higher capacity PR16 as Bedlam explained earlier. I like working with Les Schwab and will see if they can get them.

I am looking into some Double Coin tires too which Les Schwab sells, but would like an open shoulder. They do make the RLB1 which has an open shoulder, but it has a speed symbol 'J', which is a max speed of 62mph. The closed shoulder version is the RLB490 & it has a 'K' rating of 68mph. Not sure I can stay under those speeds...

Anyone running Double Coin RLB1's or 490's?

smooth1, just put a set of Hankook DH07 245 /70/19.5 's on my 07. They did change my speedo a little... shows 60 really running 62. The 265's would likely make a pretty big change, though shouldn't rub. Of course, chains/cables (a way of life here) may be a far different story!!

You may be over the tongue weight limit of 750 lbs on that SuperTruss without using any WDH. Extending your tongue length would lighten up that weight without causing handling issues or requiring W/D.

Your rear axle weights are about 500 lbs heavier than what was on my short bed F250 with a 4000 lb TC and 8000 lb trailer using the same length truss with a WDH.

From what I have read, 34" tall tires will rub slightly at full turn lock and anything taller requires a front leveling kit to clear your Ram 3500. You will not be able to use chains or cables on the front axle with those 34" tires unless you do something to the suspension.

7500lbs on the rear with camper only - 2009 Lance 1040.
8500lbs on the rear with camper and boat. I am using a 28" Super Truss, but no W/D.
Boat weight is 6500lbs on the trailers dual axles.

Your 245's with a LRH rating should be inflated 105-110 PSI to get a 4500 lb rating, but is your rear axle really loaded down that much? My F250 with AF811 and enclosed trailer was never over 8000 lbs on the rear axle. I ran 70 PSI up front and 95 PSI in the rear.

FYI: 265/70R19.5's in a LRH would require 85 PSI for a 9110 lb axle weight.

OK thanks. Just trying to see if a 34" tire will rub on a stock Ram. I am running vision 19.5's, and like the idea of not having to run at 120psi to get the 4500lb capacity. with the 265 tires @ 5500lb capacity, I could run them at 100psi possibly to get the 4500lb load rating. This would make my small air compressor happier, and save me some time airing up.

They make the 245's in LRG/PR14 and LRH/PR16 capacities. You will find the latter to be closer to 5K lbs per tire.

You will find the 245's are about 33" tall and the 265's are 34".

If you are running Vision rims, they are only rated for 4500 lbs each and Rickson's at 5000 lbs.
