Arctic Fox cabover interior height

Looking for anyone with a 2014 AF that can tell me what the interior height for the cabover is, they do not list it on any web site. AF claims the 2014 has a 4" higher height. My present camper I can sit upright in the cabover without hitting my head,I stand 6'4" so height is important to me. I am trying to find out so as to see if a 300 mile trip to look at one is worth it. If you have a 2012 or 2013 and know the height that would also help me out. Thanks

Sorry I forgot to get the measurements until today. The measurement from the top of the mattress to the ceiling is 35 inches at the foot of the bed where the privacy curtain is. The same measurement where your pillow would lay at the head of the bed is about 31 inches. I'm 6 feet tall and can sit up comfortably where my pillow is and my head does not hit the ceiling. Hope this helps.

That's another reason I bought an AF - more headroom compared to the Lance model (prior to the Lance redesign). I bought in 2009, got a 2010 AF811
Mine is a tad under 12' overall height.
I am 5'9" and love the extra interior height.

Sorry I missed this, shortly after my post...the sun came out and temps hit nearly 60 in the sun....so I was outside shampooing the carpet and upholstery from my Fox.

I also replaced the mattress, I have a 12" memory foam, and I'm 6' tall. I can sit up without slouching over on the mattress, and have yet to hit my head.

While I wouldn't mind an extra 4".... if it raises the clearance of the camper...I'd rather have the the clearance height lower. My AC sits at over 12' already on my truck. I've been considering removing the AC to get some better clearance.

Thank you for the measurement that helps out a lot, I still have scars on my head from my old Lance camper so no way am I going through that again:S. I have been looking at an AF 1150 wet bath seems to have the best bang for the buck as far as storage is concerned, but still in the thinking and looking stage. Oh and thanks for the AF phone number Butch.

Here are some measurements from our 2013 AF996 with the "old style" sloped front cabover. Foot of the bed mattress to ceiling is 34". At the headboard end, measurement from the top of the hamper side cabinet (very nearly even with the top of the mattress) is 27 1/2". Keep in mind, we've done the Mello Mike Memory foam mattress upgrade so ours is taller than the stock mattress, so measurements from the top of the mattress are subjective. I don't have any issues sitting up and hitting my head (I'm 6'1"), but near the headboard end, one does have to be careful. Like Kerry said, the additional 4" will be nice. HTH.

I have a 2010 AF 1140. I am 6'2" tall. I can sit up in the bed and I do not hit my head. Im sure on the new ones that are 4" higher you will not have any problems with clearance.

I've got a 2003 AF1150 I'm cleaning outside, I can get whatever measurements you need off that, and you can add your 4" from there....let me know where you would like a dimension.

Yea take a look at the new ones and where yours slopes up on the front they have added 4" in the front and now the nose is more rounded. Have a look at the new ones

Hey Dave are you looking at changing to an AF? They are a nice unit.

I would call Doug, I beleive it is, at the factory and ask him the question. He should be able to answer you very quickly. 800.766.6274

My 2003 Lance 1071 slide has 6'11"of headroom, because it has a slide it's taller, and since it has no basement we get the extra room inside, 7' headroom makes the camper seem huge, look for a none basement model with a slide
